Australia is good at many things but fuck, urban planning and public transport is far far down the bottom of the list... And for those people who are anti public transport and think noone uses it, well, just read this article.. I guess that's what happens when a 200km return train journey only costs $2.50. Maybe they should ummm raise that low Sunday all day fare and lower Mon-Fri fares. Basically anyone who doesnt work full time M-F still has to pay full price fares without getting any bonus/discount by Saturday. Whoever made up the Opal pricing scheme is clearly very fucking stupid.
